Focus this post on your Self-Assesment. How did things change after you got your frustrations and feelings out and on paper? How much has your group progressed? Finally, how do you feel that your written report will turn out? The Keynote? The samples/mock ups?
Remember that the Media Final EXAM is on TUESDAY.

As you finish up your project, tell us about the progress you have made.
What was the most difficult part about the project? What was easy?
Also, what did you learn about Ad Agencies and the work that they do? What did you notice about persuasion, appeals, demographics, buying, selling, etc?

Tell us what progress your Ad Agency has made on the project. Discuss the conversations you have had, agreements, disagreements, etc. Also, have you come up with your slogan? What is it? Why did you choose that slogan?
Finally, did you decide on a slogan and product name? Share it with us here.

In this space, write a few well-written, detailed sentences describing your time at St. Genevieve Elementary School. Be specific and include assignments, projects, teachers, memories, etc. What’s it like to be a student here at this school?
The chosen quotes will appear in a full-color glossy brochure during Catholic Schools Week.

Our next project will be an online effort. Together, we will write a draft of the Book of Rules in the community of the novel The Giver.
We will all pitch in and submit one or two rules found (or implied) in the book.
In January, we will all make physical, hard-bound books from the rules.
Let’s start!

Jonas, the main character in the novel “The Giver,” lives in a Utopia. If you remember, a Utopia is a human attempt to make a perfect world. However, Jonas seems to be having some conflicts – among them are The Stirrings, his Assignment, and his relationship with his family.
In what way (or ways) do you relate to Jonas? What are some issues you have in common? How does Jonas remind you of how you are or how you used to be?
